Learning Objectives and Criteria

(mapped to learning outcomes/ assessment criteria)

By the end of this lesson you will be able to:

1. Understand different systems life cycles
1.1 Evaluate different systems lifecycle models
1.2 Discuss the importance of following a procedural/ stages life cycle in a systems investigation.

2. Understand the importance of a feasibility report
2.1 Discuss the components of a feasibility report
2.2 Assess the impact of different feasibility criteria on a systems investigation

Assignment Details

Task 1

As detailed in the assignment, task 1 is broken into two parts. The first part relates directly to the following criteria:

1. Understand different systems life cycles
1.1 Evaluate different systems lifecycle models
1.2 Discuss the importance of following a procedural/ stages life cycle in a systems investigation.

You will need to investigate and evaluate various different system lifecycles that can be used to investigate and define a system.

Task 2

2. Understand the importance of a feasibility report
2.1 Discuss the components of a feasibility report
2.2 Assess the impact of different feasibility criteria on a systems investigation
